Dec. 28 - 2018 EAGLE Winner Chosen for Coastal Pines

December 28, 2018 - Vivian Crooks was chosen to represent Coastal Pines Technical College at the EAGLE (Exceptional Adult Georgia in Literacy Education) Leadership Institute March 11-13, 2019.  The Leadership Institute recognizes and honors those students who have demonstrated superior achievement in adult education classes and programs. Crooks was nominated by her instructor, Kemso Keith, out of the Glynn County, Bay Harbour Adult Education Site. Crooks is a resident of Glynn County and the mother of two children.  Her career goal is to eventually have a career in criminal justice.


EAGLE is the first statewide program in the nation that recognizes and rewards excellence among students enrolled in adult education programs.  This student recognition program is designed to create greater awareness of educational opportunities that are available in local communities across the state and to foster greater involvement in lifelong learning pursuits.
